Martina Märki studied German and Communications Science at the University of Zurich. As scientific assistant she lead several research projects related to communications science and media, and, along the way, worked as freelance journalist and copywriter for PR. She has been editor at ETH Zurich since 1993 focusing on editing magazines. She also worked for several ETH projects: As Head Publishing she contributed to the development of the online magazine ETH Life. She was responsible for internal communications activities related to the ETH anniversary and the initial phase of Science City and realised, amongst others, the housing experiment for students in the blue container at Science City. Recently she completed in-service master studies in Cultural Management. Martina Märki is working as editor in the Public Relations team.
